Rs ‘3,960 cr of record revenue in Petroleum’

Jaipur: A new record of revenue generation has been created in the mineral oil and natural gas sector in the state. The dept has achieved this success by earning revenue of Rs 3,960 crore 22 lakh in first 9 months of current financial year. Mines Minister Pramod Jain Bhaya said that the dept is setting new dimensions of revenue generation in the state. According to the trend, by the end of the financial year, petroleum revenue will be at the figure of Rs 6,000. ACS Mines and Petroleum Dr Subodh Agarwal said that in the first 9 months of the current financial year, the revenue of Rs 3,960 has been earned which is more than 18 percent compared to the revenue of the corresponding period last year. He said that this is a new record of petroleum revenue till Dec 31. More than Rs 550 crores was received in April, Rs 422 crores in May, Rs 529 crores in June, maximum revenue of Ra 556 crores was earned in July
