CM Gehlot to visit Guj on Tuesday to brainstorm over poll strategy

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot, who went to Gujarat on August 17 & 18 and discussed the poll preparations, will once again visit Gujarat on Tuesday along with Party’s National Organisation General Secretary KC Venugopal. They were scheduled to leave for Gujarat on Monday from Jaipur after attending the party meeting Venugopal’s visit was cancelled as Ajay Maken fell ill. Gehlot has been appointed as a senior observer for the Gujarat Assembly polls. Congress has now intensified the preparations for the possible Gujarat assembly elections in November. Gehlot, Venugopal, & Gujarat Congress in-charge Dr Raghu Sharma will brainstorm on election preparations with many other leaders including RS MP Shaktisinh Gohil.

Venugopal will also discuss about preparations for the nationwide rally and Bharat Jodo Yatra to be held in Delhi on September 4. Venugopal will inform Rahul Gandhi about meetings taken on the nationwide rally in Rajasthan and Gujarat and Bharat Jodo Yatra. Along with poll management, the responsibility of all preps lies on Gehlot’s shoulders, who has been the State in-charge of Gujarat during the 2017 Gujarat Assembly elections.
