CM emphasises Indian culture’s global identity at Kalash Yatra
Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that Indian culture has been promoted and preserved because of the saints and sages. “Due to his special contribution, today the values of Indian culture have their own identity in the world,” he said while addressing a Kalash Yatra organized by Baba Balaknath Ashram on the occasion of Mahamrityujanya Mahayagya in the Govind Dev Ji temple on Sunday.
Sharma said that Yagya has an important place in Indian culture. “It is the main means of preserving the environment. The souls of the people who perform Yagya and participate in it get purified and their all-round development takes place,” Sharma said.
He said that Indian women have been leading participants in religious programs and all sections of the society need to take inspiration from them. Before this, Sharma remembered Baba Balaknath by paying floral tributes on his picture. He greeted Bastinath Ji Maharaj by covering himself with a shawl.
The CM also formally started the Yatra by placing an urn on the head of a woman and worshiping her. Sharma also offered prayers at Govind Dev Ji temple and wished for the prosperity and prosperity of the country and the state. Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham, MLAs Kuldeep Dhankar and Kailash Verma, former MLA Ramhet Yadav and others were also present on the occasion.
