Jodh: Shekhawat pays tributes to ex-PM Vajpayee
Jodhpur: Union Tourism and Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat visited Jodhpur on Wednesday, arriving from Delhi. He was welcomed by administrative officials at the airport. During his visit, Shekhawat attended the birth anniversary program of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the BJP office, where he paid tribute with a floral offering. The event was attended by a large gathering of BJP workers.
Shekhawat also visited Kalayanpur in Balotra to attend the condolence meeting for the late Ummed Singh Araba at his residence. He offered condolences to the grieving family and paid tribute to Araba by placing flowers on his portrait. Araba, who was the President of the Nagnecha Mata Temple Trust Management Committee, was remembered for his significant contributions to the community
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Pacharvada MLA Arun Chaudhary, BJP District President Babusingh Rajguru, and other local leaders. Shekhawat’s visit underscored his respect for both Vajpayee and Araba, recognising their impact on the region’s political and cultural landscape.
