Why not stop Preneet Kaur?

New Delhi: Patiala MP Preneet Kaur has also joined the ‘gathering’ of angry Congress leaders and many Congress leaders have questioned this.

An informed Congress leader has pointed out that the statement issued after the five-hour meeting at Ghulam Nabi Azad’s house said that ‘Congress leaders met’, but should Preneet Kaur now considered a Congress leader, when she has openly campaigned for BJP in Punjab and sought votes?

A member of the Congress Working Committee says it is one thing to be angry with the Congress and another to campaign for the BJP.

Keep in mind that Preneet Kaur’s husband Captain Amarinder Singh left the Congress and formed a separate party and contested the elections in coordination with the BJP.

After her aligning with the BJP, Preneet Kaur said many times that family is more important to her than the party. That is, she is Congress MP later and Capt’s wife is first. Kaur also attended the BJP meeting held in Patiala in connection with the preparations for Amit Shah’s programme and sought votes for the BJP during the campaign.

Only then the Congress leaders say that her attending the meeting means that the meeting is in support of the BJP. Therefore, if the members of the meeting at Azad’s residence were sincerely with the Congress, they would have stopped Preneet Kaur.

Similarly, this question is also being asked that since when did Shankar Singh Vaghela become a Congressman? He had left the Congress before the Lok Sabha elections and later moved to the NCP. Therefore, by what authority has he signed the roll call of leaders as a Congress man?
