Ex-CM Gehlot, others join last rites of his sister

Jodhpur: The cremation of Vimla Devi, sister of former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, was performed at the cremation ground in Mandore, Jodhpur on Wednesday.

Apart from former ministers of Rajasthan government, senior leaders of Congress, social workers of Jodhpur and people of Mali community, leaders and workers of other parties also reached and paid tribute to Vimla Devi.

Before the funeral, Gehlot reached his sister’s residence in Lal Sagar. On seeing the dead body of his sister, Gehlot also became emotional and tears rolled down from his eyes.

He also consoled his nephews Ranveer Singh and Jaswant Singh. Apart from Gehlot’s family, a large number of relatives were also present.
