‘We are informing youth about Constitutional values’

Jaipur: All India President of Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Raj Organisation Meenakshi Natarajan on Sunday, called Prime Minister Narendra Modi’ ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme as a ‘one-sided’ affair and said that he did not listen to the mind of the farmer and women.

The 100th episode of ‘Mann ki Baat’ radio programme was broadcasted on Sunday. “PM did not listen to the mind of the farmer who agitated against the farm bill. The PM did not listen to women, female wrestlers are protesting, but they are unheard by the Prime Minister. A large number of women came out on the streets and protested against CAANRC but they were not listened to,” the former Member of Parliament said.

She was in Jaipur to hold dialogues with selected youths in ‘Sarvoday Sankalp’ workshop at PCC. She said that some of the youths will be sent for further training at Maharashtra’s Mahatma Gandhi Sevagram Ashram.

“We are telling the youth about the constitutional values and aspirations of the people. We are making them aware according to Baba Saheb’s thinking,” she said.

Meenakshi Natarajan further said that this exercise is not limited to elections and is spreading the ideology of the party at the Panchayat level.
