Rajasthan village erupts in protest as boys allegedly target classmate with shocking acts
Jaipur: A Rajasthan village was shaken by a massive protest today as outraged residents took to the streets after some schoolboys were accused of committing shocking acts. According to reports, the boys allegedly filled a girl's water bottle with urine and placed a love letter inside their classmate's bag, all from a different community.
The situation escalated rapidly when angry villagers attempted to enter the boy's house and resorted to pelting stones at a police team that intervened to prevent any further escalation of violence. In response, the police had to resort to lathi-charging to disperse the agitated crowd.
Visuals from the scene depicted a significant gathering, with some men seen carrying sticks, reflecting the intensity of the emotions running high among the protesters. The police, on the other hand, made efforts to control the situation and maintain peace.
As of now, no official case has been registered since the girl is yet to lodge a formal complaint with the police. However, an official assured that appropriate action would be taken against those involved in the protest once a complaint is filed.
This distressing incident has sparked concern and tension in the village, and authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure a peaceful resolution while holding those responsible for their actions accountable.
