24th conservation reserve notified in Raj

Jaipur: The Notification of the 24th Conservation Reserve of the state was issued on Friday as Baleshwar Conservation Reserve in Neem Ka Thana has been notified as the 24th Conservation Reserve of the state. The Reserve is made up of reserve forest blocks Gavri, Gadarata, Dokan, and Patan.

Meanwhile, five more conservation reserves are to be notified soon. Among these are Khekan Jodhpur, Fatehpur Sikar, Desuri Narlai Rajsamand, Amli Baran and Barmer Conservation Reserve.

So far, a total of 24 conservation reserves have been notified in the state and as soon as 5 new reserves are notified, their number will become total 29. In such a situation, the protection of forests and wildlife will be strengthened. There will put an effective ban on encroachment, illegal felling, and illegal mining.
