‘Maha Kumbh is Maha Yagya of Unity’

Prayagraj: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated and launched multiple development projects worth over Rs 5,500 crore at Prayagraj,Uttar Pradesh on Friday. Addressing the gathering, he said, ‘A new history is being written on land of Prayagraj’. The PM underlined that the organization of Maha Kumbh next year would take the spiritual and cultural identity of the nation to new peaks and said that such a ‘Maha Yagya’ of unity would be discussed around world.

The PM launched several projects for the 2025 Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, focusing on improved infrastructure and connectivity. These include 10 new RoBs, permanent ghats, riverfront roads, and initiatives for clean Ganga, such as intercepting and treating minor drains. Major temple corridors were also launched for the devotees and to promote spiritual tourism. PM introduced Kumbh Sah’AI’yak chatbot for real-time updates on Maha Kumbh events.
