TMC & TRS upset over PK’s ‘role’ both within & outside party lines!

New Delhi: The leaders of Trinamool Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi are upset and complaining over two issues. Word is that some senior leaders of Trinamool have met Mamata Banerjee and complained about Prashant Kishor while objecting to his meetings with Congress party leaders. Their first complaint is that when Prashant Kishor has an agreement with the Trinamool Congress, hence how can he talk to the Congress party. Secondly, these leaders have objected as to how has he assured the Congress that he will bring harmony in West Bengal without talking to the Trinamool Congress.

In fact, Trinamool Congress wants to fight alone in West Bengal. He knows that if the card of Bengali identity is played by raising the issue of making Mamata Banerjee the Prime Minister, the party can win maximum seats. The party leaders are also looking at the possibility of winning all the seats in Gujarat like the BJP. They feel that if there is a campaign to make the first Prime Minister from Bengal, Mamta can win all the seats. In such a situation, they are displeased with Prashant Kishor’s claim of reconciliation.

However, Mamta has not taken these complaints seriously, yet. She knows that her agreement is not with Prashant Kishor, but with the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC). She also knows that Prashant Kishor has separated himself from this company. So, Trinamool Congress’s deal with this company is till 2026 elections but technically not with Prashant Kishor and hence Kishor is free to do his politics. Yes, she too has raised an eyebrow over Kishor’s claim of coordination with other parties.

On the other hand, Prashant Kishor has also had talks with Telangana Rashtra Samithi. Recently, Kishor had gone to Hyderabad and he also met Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao. Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders also have the same problem as the Trinamool and are also not ready to align with the Congress. Congress leaders of Telangana have also objected to this. State Congress President Revanth Reddy has said that Congress will fight the elections on its own and will make a comeback.

So, the question is how Prashant Kishor will bring a cohesive coordination between the Congress and TRS in Telangana and if he does, will the BJP not automatically become the only opposition party. There is no confrontation in the rest of the states regarding Prashant Kishor. Because the Congress already has coordination in the states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Jharkhand etc. But there is a problem in West Bengal and Telangana.
