Rathore highlights Raj’s progress in medical care

Jaipur: In a review meeting of various works under the National Health Mission, Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore praised Rajasthan’s achievements in maternal and infant health, stating that the state surpassed national averages in maternal mortality, vaccination, and childbirth.

She urged further improvements to establish the state as a leader in these areas.

Gayatri Rathore emphasized the need for enhanced patient care at Community Health Centers (CHCs) and Primary Health Centers (PHCs) and called for adequate staffing at First Referral Units to address personnel shortages. She highlighted the critical issues of anaemia and malnutrition among children, advocating for stronger screening initiatives.
