Rajasthan-MP meet on cheetah corridor in R’bore
Sawai Madhopur: Cheetahs will soon be seen leaping across Rajasthan, following a key 1st meeting between forest officials from MP and Rajasthan on Friday in Ranthambore. A visibility study, to be conducted by Wildlife Institute of India, will assess potential for vast cheetah landscape stretching from Dholpur to Sita Mata Sanctuary. The two states also agreed to link new wildlife safaris & tourism routes. The meeting chaired by Rajasthan’s Pawan Upadhyay and MP’s Shubhranjan Sen, focused on cheetah landscape as per CM’s budget announcement.
