HC worker’s suicide: Family secures compensation and job

Jaipur: In a shocking development, a contractual worker in the Rajasthan high Court, identified as Manish Kumar Saini, committed suicide by hanging in room number 306 of appeal section located on the third floor of BBlock in the High Court premises. On receiving information, the Ashok Nagar police reached the spot and an FSL team was called to the scene. Principal secretary legal Brijendra Kumar Jain also reached the spot. The contractual personnel demanded that the wife of the deceased be given a job along with Rs. 1 crore assistance and free education for children till graduation, withdraw SLP pending in the Supreme Court and a senior official should conduct a fair investigation of this case. Later, the family members and administration came to an agreement in which the wife of the deceased will be given a contractual job in Bandikui with compensation of Rs 11 lakh, along with the salary of contractual staff working in GA office was increased.
