6L candidates sit for CET; CET sr secondary exam on Oct 22-24

Jaipur: The Common Eligibility Test (CET) for undergraduates was successfully conducted across 25 cities in Rajasthan, including Jaipur, in a peaceful atmosphere on Friday. Approximately 6 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. The attendance rate reached nearly 89%, surpassing last year’s figures. To qualify this year, candidates must score at least 40%, with a 5% relaxation for SC and ST categories.

A proposal to extend the CET score validity from one to three years is currently awaiting government approval. In Jaipur, around 90,000 out of 1 lakh registered candidates attended the exam.

The schedule for the Senior Secondary (CET) has been released by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. The exams will take place on October 22, 23, and 24, with two shifts each day.
