Suspicious box at Sonar Fort; police seize diary, Pak currency

Jaisalmer: A late-night panic unfolded at Sonar Fort’s Dashahara Chowk after the discovery of a suspicious box containing alarming items. The box was found to contain documents, including ration cards, Aadhaar cards, and a diary filled with notes allegedly referencing potential targets such as a hotel and an airport.

In addition to these documents, authorities also recovered Pakistani currency and various other notes. Local police promptly arrived at the scene, confiscating the materials for further investigation. The incident has sparked concerns, with law enforcement treating the matter as potentially serious.

SHO Sawai Singh said that we have seized the bag and are investigating the things written in the diary along with searching for the owner of the bag.

It is noteworthy that even before this, a letter had been received to bomb the temple during the Ramdevra fair.
