Sikar : Martyr Shishupal Singh was cremated with full state honour on Monday as a huge crowd gathered to bid adieu to him. In his honour, an 18KM long tricolour yatra was taken out with flower showers at various places. Raj PCC head Govind Singh Dotasra, District Collector, people’s representatives, administrative officers and thousands of villagers were present on the occasion.

Singh’s father Jhabar Mal, mother Parvati Devi, wife Kamala Devi were inconsolable. After the guard of honour his son, Prashant consigned him to flames. In Barmer, a sea of people turned up to bid adieu to BSF man Sanwalaram Vishnoi. Amid intense sloganeering along with locals, two ministers of Gehlot cabinet, BSF personnel and district admin officials paid their last respect to Vishnoi. Martyr’s elder son Akshay and other family members performed the last rites.
