Jagannathpur (Odisha): Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Friday that despite Odisha having abundance of resources, a large number of the population here is living in poverty. The CM said that CM Naveen Patnaik has pushed Odisha back by 50 years during his 25 years of rule.
“Even today there are 6,412 villages in Odisha where there are no roads. The youth here have to migrate to Surat and other cities of the country for livelihood. During the rule of BJD, the peaceloving Odia land has become a hub of crime and Odisha has become the number one state in the country in terms of crime against women,” CM Bhajan Lal Sharma was addressing a public meeting organized at Jagannathpur Junction in Odisha on Friday. He said that BJD and Congress are responsible for this situation in Odisha.
