MD stresses on speedy agri connections

Ajmer: Managing Director of Discom, NS Nirvana took a meeting of top officials of all 11 districts of Discom at main office of Ajmer Discom in Panchsheel. 

MD directed officers to release pending agricultural connections at an expeditious pace. Assistant Engineer (Surajgarh) has also been suspended for negligence in releasing agriculture connection, he informed. In meeting, MD Nirvana took detailed info on T&D loss, revenue recovery, pending complaints received on Sampark portal, and connection in agriculture, PHED, industrial, and domestic. Alongside exhaustive information was examined about power supply, smart meter, mini lab, industrial feeder losses, high-risk points, consumer indexing, feeder metering, vigilance check, pending VCR, pending administrative problems.

He said consumers should be motivated to pay bills by organising camps under Amnesty scheme.
