Cops stop man from remarrying in Barmer

Barmer: A man was stopped from remarrying after his wife approached the police. On the basis of the woman’s complaint, police have warned the man not to do a second marriage. Incident has been reported from Gudamalani police station area in Barmer.

Priyanka approached the Barmer police alleging that without divorcing her, husband Sarwan Kumar is getting married again. She blamed that her husband and in-laws have thrown him out of the house over dowry demand after which she is forced to live at her father’s house. Priyanka and Sarwan Kumar got married eight years ago. In her complaint the victim alleged that after a few years of her marriage in-laws started harassing her mentally and physically over dowry demand and later threw her out of the house.
