ALS 50 hits ground accurately during test in Pokhran Field Range

Jaisalmer: ALS 50 drone system was tested by Tata Advanced Systems Limited at Pokhran Field Firing Range here. ALS 50 hit the ground accurately during test and proved to be a milestone by successfully demonstrating its capability. It has been developed by Tata Advanced Systems Limited with indigenous technology. In addition, it is capable of travelling a long distance, finding and destroying enemies. It can be easily used in confined places like narrow valleys. According to sources, this system has also been designed for Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) and it will be inducted in armed forces soon. It can also be upgraded as per the requirements of the Armed Forces.
