Mother’s Day 2024: Vahbiz Dorabjee shares her plans with her mother on this special day and the reason for the double celebration, says, “We are going to Turkey and for us, it’s always memorable because it is my mom’s birthday the day after Mother’s Day”
Renowned for her poise and charisma, Vahbiz Dorabjee has left an indelible mark with her diverse performances on television. From her debut in 'Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani' to her memorable role as Maggie in 'Bahu Humari Rajnikant,' she has consistently mesmerized audiences. However, beyond her on-screen persona, Vahbiz is also a very good daughter and as Mother’s Day is around the corner, she shares some beautiful memories spent with her mother.
Talking about the beautiful bond with her mother, Vahbiz says, “My mother is my lifeline. Everybody says that I am my mother’s copy, we look like twins, we behave like twins. She is just not my mother but also my sister. When we go out people don’t believe that she is my mom because she looks so young.” Sharing about the best lesson she has learnt from her mother, she says, “My mother is one of the bubbliest people just like me. She is always cheerful. She is an excellent cook and housewife. She is also a good businesswoman. She is a rounder. My father also says that there can never be anyone better than your mom.”
Going down memory lane, Vahbiz shares the best memory she has with her mother, says, “All my favourite memories are with my mom. Till today, even my school friends say that they love my mom dad, they are so cool. Now, we are going to Turkey and for us, it’s always memorable because it is my mom’s birthday the day after Mother’s Day. So for us, it is a double occasion every year. Last year we were in Thailand. Then once I took my mom to Cordelia Cruises.”
Discussing if ever her mother denied her something in her childhood for any reason that helped her grow in your life, she says, “We come from an affluent family, but both my parents were always strict. They have punished me many times, grounded me. I was grounded for a month. They never gave us anything easily because they wanted me and my brother to work hard and earn our own identity which has surely helped us.” When asked Vahbiz about the one quality she would want to have from her mother, says, “She is an emotional person and the pillar of our house. She is very spiritual and religious. I want to be more religious as she has always prayed for me and because of her I am here.”
