All-religion rally in Ajmer for peace

Ajmer: An all-community peace march was taken out in Ajmer on Tuesday evening which was participated by the religious leaders of different communities including Hindu and Muslim.

“The move was proposed by religious leaders in order to strengthen communal harmony in the city. The march was attended by around 500 people from different communities, it passed through religious places like temples, Church, Gurudwara and Dargah where it was welcomed by people,” Ajmer collector Anshdeep said.

He said that the march started from Subhash garden and concluded at Gandhi circle after covering a distance of around 2.5 km.

Collector and other district administration and police officials were also present in the march.

People were carrying tricolours in their hands.
