THREE RAJ CRICKETERS HONOURED

Jaipur: Mathura Das Mathur Cricket Award ceremony concluded on Tuesday here in presence of Mahant Kailash Sharma and Water Supply Minister Mahesh Joshi. Aniket Chaudhary in the senior category, Anirudh Singh in the junior category and Rohan Rajbhar in the sub-junior category were honoured. The selection committee headed by former Ranji player Ved Ahuja selected the Rajasthan players on basis of their year-long performance. Former Ranji captain Sanjay Vyas, Sharad Joshi, Vijender Yadav, Rohit Jhalani and Gaurav Sharma are in this selection committee. These awards are given every year on September 6, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former state minister Mathuradas Mathur. Apart from former Ranji captain Pankaj Singh, Mohammad Aslam, Anshu Jain and Rohit Jhalani, Bimal Soni, Mohammad Iqbal & Sanjay Vyas were present in the programme. Joshi said it is the dream of every player to win this award.
