We will wipe out infiltrators from Jharkhand, bring law to return encroached land of tribals: Amit Shah
Giridih: Union Home Minister Amit Shah hit out at Hemant Soren government and alleged that the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) was mired in corruption and if the BJP came to power would wipe out the infiltrators from the state and would bring a law to return the encroached land of tribals.
Addressing an election campaign in Giridih, Amit Shah said, "Hemant Soren government has not allowed to implement schemes of PM Modi as it is mired in corruption. We will ensure industries in Jharkhand so that the labourers do not have to go to other states for work. Hemant Soren is not bothered to build industries in Jharkhand or create electricity. There are mines of aluminium and iron ore but Hemant Soren is not bothered that they are manufactured here. He is only concerned about allowing the infiltrators to enter Jharkhand."
He further alleged that these infiltrators marry innocent locals and encroach on their lands.
"These infiltrators enter Jharkhand and marry innocent local girls for the second time, third time, and encroach on their lands. These infiltrators who have encroached on the lands of innocent tribal women would be thrown out of the state. We will bring a law that these encroached lands would have to be returned back to tribals," he further said.
He hit out at Rahul Gandhi and said that the Congress wants to bring back Article 370.
"Even four generations of Rahul Gandhi cannot bring back Article 370. Kashmir belongs to India. They ruled for 10 years. Every day terrorists from Pakistan used to carry out assaults. PM Modi conducted surgical strikes and air strikes to kill the terrorists. People of Jharkhand have suffered from Naxalism for years. PM Modi has removed Naxalism from Jharkhand within the last 10 years. Naxalism would end in Chhattisgarh before March 31, 2026. The polling has been done for the first phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections. JMM-Congress have been wiped out in the first phase," he further said.
He further said that the NDA government would bring an amendment to the Waqf Bill despite opposition.
Shah further said, "The Waqf board in Karnataka have declared villages under the property of Waqf. Centuries-old temples, lands and houses of farmers were declared as Waqf property...We will surely bring an amendment in the Waqf Bill, however, Rahul Gandhi and Hemant Soren are opposing it."
Elections on the remaining 38 seats will be conducted on November 20. The counting of the votes will take place on November 23.
