NIA tops Prakriti Parikshan campaign
Jaipur: he National Ayurveda Institute, Jaipur, has secured the first position in the “Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan,” a nationwide initiative conducted under the Ministry of AYUSH. This campaign was launched in response to the call by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to improve the health of the general public.
According to data released by NCISM (National Commission for Indian System of Medicine) on Thursday, the physicians of the institute achieved an impressive strike rate of 193.52%, conducting prakriti assessments for 2,38,609 individuals. The campaign was conducted across the country from November 26 to December 25, 2024, by institutions under the Ministry of AYUSH.
The NCISM report revealed that Jaipur’s National Ayurveda Institute outperformed other institutions nationwide, earning the top spot for its outstanding contribution to the initiative. Professor Sanjeev Sharma, the VC of the National Ayurveda Institute, explained that the prakriti tests were conducted as part of a collaborative effort between the Ministry of AYUSH, and NCISM. He attributed the success to the relentless dedication of the institute’s physicians, students, officials, and staff.
