Karanpur polls: Cong forms 26-member poll mgmt panel

Jaipur: PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra announced the formation of the Election Management Committee for assembly election on Karanpur seat.

The Committee has 26 leaders including Govind Ram Meghwal, Narendra Budhaniya, Zia Ur Rehman, Ankur Miglani, Kuldeep Indora, Surendra Dadri, Dungarram Gaidar, Sohanlal Nayak, Shimla Devi Nayak, and others.

On the other hand, a public meeting will be held in Karanpur on December 19 where former CM Ashok Gehlot and Dotasra would address the gathering in support of party candidate Rupendra S Kunnar. SS Randhawa, Sachin Pilot will also. Rupendra Singh is the son of Gurmeet Singh Kunnar who died before assembly polls, leading to adjournment of polls. The polling in Karanpur will now take place on January 5.
