RAS Suresh Kumar accused in bribery case suspended

Jaipur: Former District Excise Officer Suresh Kumar, accused in a bribery case, has been suspended by the Bhajan Lal government. A case was registered against him in the ACB in which he was said to be involved. He had been in police custody since his arrest on May 2.

The Personnel Department has suspended him with effect from May 2. His headquarters will be office of Principal Secretary, Personnel Department during suspension.

Besides, the Finance Department has given additional charge of the post of Alwar District Excise Officer to District Excise Officer Archana Jaiman.
