Jaipurites run with motto of ‘Zero Hunger’

Jaipur: Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon was organized on Sunday, realizing the state government’s resolution ‘No one sleeps hungry’. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot flagged off the marathon at 6.30 am at Albert Hall, Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg. He shook hands with the runners and encouraged them to keep moving forward.

In the marathon organized on the theme ‘Run for Zero Hunger’, the runners completed the race in three categories -- 21, 10 and 5 km. He gave the message of ‘No one sleeps hungry’, ‘Nirogi Rajasthan’ and to keep moving forward. Notably, food will be provided to the needy people on behalf of the organizing group depending on the number of metres run by all the runners together.
