Excise dept makes fresh bid to spruce up revenue

Jaipur: The excise department has released its revenue model so that the loss in settlement can be compensated by earning revenue in non-operational head. It has issued instructions to prepare an action plan for recovery of arrears and auction of seized vehicles and complete them in a time frame in relation to hotels, restaurants and club bars to increase revenue. Excise Commissioner Prakash Rajpurohit will monitor the implementation of these action plans.
