Rain brings relief from heat; waterlogging adds to woes

Jaipur: On Saturday evening, the capital city of Jaipur experienced showers accompanied by thunder. The rain affected multiple areas, leading to water logging in several parts of the city.

Areas including Ajmer Road, Sodala, Sirsi Road, and Jhotwara saw significant rainfall, transforming Jaipur’s weather into a pleasant one. Jawahar Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, and Moti Doongri also experienced heavy downpours, causing waterlogging with even a brief spell of rain.

Beyond Jaipur, several other districts in the state received substantial rainfall.In Pratap Nagar, lightning struck, causing damage to several houses, though no casualties have been reported so far.

In Jodhpur too, the rain continued for the third straight day.
