Jaipur: Dr Sudhir Bhandari, Principal and Controller of SMS Medical College, who was actively involved in fulfilling his duties during the Covid-19, will take over as the ViceChancellor of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (Medical University) today. Bhandari plans to develop RUHS Hospital as a multi-specialty within a year. He has been the main man of the government in Covid management. He played a key role in every policy and functioning of the state government.

The state-of-the-art superspeciality hospital, including institute of heart, neuroscience, topical medicine, 24 storey with 1,100 bed capacity in Sawai Mansingh Hospital and newly approved 500 bed IPD tower in Women’s Hospital are among his achievements.
