Organ transplant scam was going on since 2020: Khimsar

Jaipur: Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar addressed the press regarding the organ transplant fake NOC case, citing a significant conspiracy dating back to 2020. He emphasized the need to uncover all connections related to Gaurav Singh and vowed to apprehend the real culprits who exploited the system’s weaknesses.

Khimsar highlighted the Chief Minister’s directive for swift action, similar to the paper leak case, and stressed the urgency of forming a committee to investigate the matter thoroughly. He hinted at involvement from the previous government and proposed another committee to expose the multi-crore scam. After meeting the Governor, Khimsar reiterated the Chief Minister’s instructions for prompt resolution and evidence submission against Dr Sudhir Bhandari. He underscored efforts to ascertain the extent of involvement from previous govt ministers and noted Gaurav Singh’s cooperation in disclosing past meetings.

“We have no records of how many NOCs were issued & how much action was taken. During that time, people took advantage of situation. We will request CM form another panel to expose multi-crore scam, similar to that of paper leak case,” Khimsar said.
