DoP gives postings to 2 IAS who were put under APO

Jaipur: The DoP has taken action within 24 hours on the news of First India. Two junior IAS officers who were under APO status have finally been given posting.

The DoP issued orders on Thursday to appoint Shubham Chaudahary as Director, Horticulture and Avdhesh Meena as Commissioner- Disabilities. Shubham Chaudhary, an IAS officer of 2014 batch, was under the APO status for the last 58 days and Avdhesh Meena, an officer of 2017 batch, was APO for the last 4 months. First India had prominently questioned the DoP as to why these two young IAS have been kept without posting. The news had an immediate impact and a single order for the posting of both the officers was issued.
