Dhariwal flags off hydraulic ladders for 4 cities of Rajasthan

Jaipur: The fire-fighting system in the four urban bodies of the state will soon be strengthened. Local self government department Minister Shanti Dhariwal flagged off four air hydraulic ladder platforms to the respective cities on Tuesday. Due to increasing urbanization and limited basic facilities, construction of high rise multi-storey buildings is going on at a fast pace in the big cities of the state. In case of fire, it is important to control the blaze in time. So, air hydraulic ladder platforms for cities are being procured by the state government. Forty-metre high ladder was already available for Jaipur city. After this, another 70-metre high ladder was procured to extinguish fire. The LSG has procured 60-metre high air hydraulic ladder for civic bodies of Kota, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Bhiwadi Municipal Council. Dhariwal said that the aim of the government is to improve and strengthen the fire-fighting system of civic bodies.
