CS directs shifting of DIPR outside secretariat

Jaipur: The Directorate of the Department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR) will soon be shifted outside the secretariat.

Chief Secretary Usha Sharma during a meeting with department officials on Thursday made it clear that DIPR will be shifted outside the secretariat and asked the officials to soon chalk out a plan for the shifting and present it in the next meeting. In the meeting, the DIPR officials argued that a budget of Rs 150 crore has been approved for the renovation of DIPR and it should be shifted when the process of its implementation is completed.

However, the Chief Secretary said that as per the directions, it has to be shifted as of now and hence, a plan for its shifting should be presented in the next meeting.
