CS assures action against ACB officer

Jaipur: RAS Association and about 70 other RAS officers held a meeting with Chief Secretary Usha Sharma and ACS Home Abhay Kumar on Monday regarding no action in RAS Bhagchand Badhal case. The CS has assured action against the officer concerned of ACB in three-four days. Vijay Kumar expressed his anguish and told how he was kept in jail for 35 days.

Association general secretary Praveen Kumar Meel said that there has also been a demand from the association to set up an independent agency that will listen to the complaint against the ACB. Besides, action has also been demanded against ACB Additional SP and it should be implemented by duly issuing SOP for investigation and inquiry into the complaint in ACB.

The RAS officers said that the ACB should not blame any innocent. They said that the Additional SP Narottam Sharma, against whom action is being sought, has been considered unfit in the ACB.
