Bhumipujan takes place in presence of EC team

Jaipur: The Bhoomipujan of Garh Ganesh ropeway was done in the presence of saints and mahants on Thursday, but before this, controversy arose due to the laying of the foundation stone by PHED Minister and Hawamahal MLA Dr Mahesh Joshi.

BJP leaders and workers complained to the administration citing violation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and thereafter, the Bhoomi Pujan took place in the presence of the Election Commission team and the police. Prominent saints and mahants including Garh Ganesh Mahant Pradeep Audichya, Govind Devji Temple Mahant Manas Goswami laid the foundation stone of the ropeway
