4 held from Nepal border for robbery at house of PA of ex-Min, 14 at large

Jaipur: Police have arrested four miscreants who committed robbery by taking Maithilisharan Sharma’s family hostage. Sharma is PA of former Health Minister Emaduddin Ahmed Khan alias Durru Mian.

All four were caught near the border. Dacoit Tula Singh was caught from Sonipat and dacoits Ganesh, Narayan, Ranjit Thapa (the mastermind) were caught near the Nepal border.

The police have recovered the robbed items. DCP West Richa Tomar said that 14 accused are absconding and teams are searching for them.

The police team reached the Nepal border on Thursday morning and arrested Narayan, Ranjeet and Ganesh, who were in a car.

Police said that 18 Nepali dacoits carried out this incident. This included 13 men and 5 women who robbed Rs 3 lakh 80,000 and gold and silver jewellery.
