Strengthening ACB’s reach to the masses is my top priority: ACB DG

Jaipur: Senior IPS Ravi Prakash Meharda assumed the charge of DG ACB on Friday, which was lying vacant for the last few months. After assuming the charge of DG ACB, Meharda met all the top officials of ACB and chaired a meeting with them. The DG also sought suggestions from officers so that ACB’s functioning can be further improved. While speaking to media after assuming the charge, Meharda said that his full focus will be on strengthening the reach of ACB to the masses and taking strict action against the corrupt and pending cases will be resolved soon. Regarding the shortage of personnel, he vowed to address it with the government to expedite ACB operations.

On prosecution sanction and the pending 17-A case, he deferred to officials of the respective department, refraining to comment about the same. “Many important steps will be taken towards further expanding the reach of ACB,” Ravi Prakash Meharda said.
