Provide aid to tribal kids: Guv

Jaipur: Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra on Tuesday emphasised on to provide immediate and long-term assistance to the children of tribal dominated scheduled areas.

Instructions have been given to identify the children orphaned during Covid and provide them immediate and long-term assistance and protection. Mishra was addressing a special online review meeting regarding the progress and problems of schemes for tribal development and welfare in the scheduled areas.

He also directed to connect all the families of such areas under the CM Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana so that these families can get the security cover of cashless treatment facility.

He inquired about district wise progress regarding making 49 villages out of 5,696 scheduled areas as model villages.

Tribal Regional Development Minister Arjun Singh Bamnia explained in detail the works related to development of scholarship and coaching facilities to the students of tribal areas.
