HC stays railway land acquisition in Nathdwara

Jodhpur: The Rajasthan High Court has taken a tough stand on the issue of land acquisition of private landholders for laying a new railway line in Shrinathji’s city Nathdwara. The Rajasthan High Court, while hearing a petition filed for changing the predetermined design and leaving the lands of some influential landholders and acquiring the lands of non-influential people, put a stay on the process of land acquisition.
