EXCLUSIVE! Sneha Wagh: Shifting from positive light to negative is difficult

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Sneha Wagh enamoured the audience when she played a mother of 2 at the age of 23. The maturity with which she embodied Ratanjeet Singh in ‘Ek Veer ki Ardaas…Veera’ at such a young age showed the sheer talent of the actor. Now, after watching her play a variety of roles, Sneha will soon be seen in the newly launched show, Naa Umra Ki Seema Ho in a rather grey character. Sitting down with First India, the actress spoke about her character, taking up challenging roles at a young age and more.

Talking about her character, Amba, Sneha stated that she is someone who is obsessed with love. “Amba is too much in love but the worst part of her life is that her love is not responded well. I think that is the baseline of the character,” the actress said.

Speaking about playing a grey role for the first time, Sneha revealed that she is not a proper vamp of the show who is after the lives of the main leads for no particular reason. She further revealed, “Her actions are justified in some ways. She is so much in love with this guy that she is hurt and all her actions come out of it. She is waiting for this guy for a very long time. And at the end of the day when he does not choose her, imagine the pain she experiences.”

Adding about shifting from a positive light to a negative one, Sneha revealed that it was difficult. “I am not going out and out positive or negative. So, I am always on my toes on set and nervous. The whole time I am anxious about whether I am saying it the right way or if I am doing it right because I have to perform really well. I am a perfectionist that way. I agree that no one is perfect but when you try to be perfect, you know that you will go ahead in life,” she signed off.
