In the session 'Breath of Gold', great flautist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia narrated funny anecdotes from his life. The life of the 84-year-old musician has been nothing short of a thriller. Organized on Breath of Gold, a book written on his life by author Satya Saran, Panditji and Satya Saran interacted with JLF producer Sanjoy K Roy. Panditji told how his wrestler father wanted him to become a wrestler, but he was not at all interested in it. He also told an interesting anecdote related to Beatle George Harrison, how he used to stand on his doorstep and then they both played a lot together. George also took him to his home in London. The journey of his life has included many successful national and international milestones including playing the flute on the radio to performing at the Royal Albert Hall. Panditji also explained in detail about Annapurna Devi. She was Panditji's teacher, but Annapurna never publicly accepted him as her disciple. When asked about this, Panditji said that Annapurna ji was from Maihar, she could never accept it because of the atmosphere of the village and her self-respect. Panditji has been honoured with all the major honours including Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan.
