Sharing about his character he said , “I always try to make an effort to keep a healthy mix of roles for the screen. It is evident in my choices like ‘Golmaal’, ‘Ankhon Dekhi’, ‘All the Best’, ‘Masaan’ and even my two recent and upcoming films — ‘Cirkus’ and ‘Vadh'”.

He added , “I don’t want to bore the viewers and myself by doing similar kinds of work. Variety toh honi chaahiye na life mein (variety is always good to have in life).”

Sharing why this character is special to him he shared, “This character is special because I have seen many people who are alike my character, a uncle and aunty who can be found in every neighbourhood. The character relates to the audience on a personal level “

The movie emphasis on attachments and relationships in a family , “ Attachment over the years have evolved . The connection is always there it only keeps evolving . There are expectations on both ends of a relationship “

Sharing on thoughts on being the lead he shared , “I’m that kind of an actor who can make any role into a lead role. Whatever work you do, make that into a lead role. But at the same time, it feels good when people come to you with such parts, achchi baat hai. I don’t do any role thinking about lead role or supporting role, but just as an actor.”

Sanjay Mishra’s aching performance in Vadh is now out for the nation to see. He may seem meek at first but turns out to be just as meticulous in pulling off a murder when a monster threatens to ruin his life, which also involves his wife and daughter-like neighbor.
