NIA detains one in Kota over links with PFI

Kota: A team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided Subhash Nagar and Vigyan Nagar area of Kota on Thursday. The team reached the house of a person named Mubarak in Subhash Nagar. The team members took Mubarak’s son Naushad along with them.

Sources said that Mubarak, allegedly associated with Social Democratic Party of India and Popular Front of India, lives in Kaithoon area and a search was done there as well.

The people living around the house said that the sound like digging was also coming from the house. Police personnel were deployed outside the house and no one was being allowed to enter the street.

Mubarak’s son works in a salon in Kota. The sources said that the NIA has found important evidence during the search.
