Marwar festival ends with fervour & gaiety

Jodhpur: Rajasthani folk artists regaled people with their excellent performance & foreign tourists also enjoyed the event. The festival culminated in Osian with various exciting competitions. It was organized by the Rajasthan Tourism Department and Jodhpur District Administration. Dr Sarita Fidoda, Assistant Director, Tourism Dept, said that under Marwar festival, a glimpse of culture was clearly visible in the procession in Osian. Village sports events, kite display, kite flying, camel safari and food & craft exhibition were also organized. Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Rakesh Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer Apoorva Parwal, Officers of BSF, Registrar of Agricultural University Priyanka Vishnoi, Deputy Director of Tourism Department Bhanupratap and Assistant Director Sarita Fidoda and others appreciated the artists.
