Jeweller injured in daylight firing in Bharatpur, accused arrested

Bharatpur: A day after a historysheeter was shot dead in broad daylight in Bharatpur, four miscreants opened fire at a jeweller on Monday near Kotwali police station in the heart of the city injuring him badly. Four miscreants came on bike and asked for the key of the locker, but when the businessman resisted, they fired at him injuring him in his leg. They tried to flee but one was caught.

As the news spread, traders gathered and started shouting slogans against the administration and shut the market to stage on a dharna.
