Cop flees during ACB trap in Chittorgarh, throws money

Chittorgarh: A constable was booked by anti-corruption bureau for allegedly taking bribe in Chittorgarh district. The accused constable Samrath Singh had demanded the bribe in lieu of allowing a liquor shop to run smoothly. His demand was of Rs 40,000 but the matter settled for Rs 30,000.

After verification of the complaint, a trap was laid but the accused constable fled after seeing the ACB team. He also threw the amount. The matter is being further probed.
