Congress leader Rafiq Mandelia organized Rakshabandhan program in Churu

Churu: Congress leaders from Churu state assembly constituency and vice president of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, Rafiq Mandelia organized a ‘Bhavya Rakshabandhan Samaroh’ on Tuesday. Thousands of women of Churu participated in this programme. Rafiq Mandelia promised all of them that the day he would come to power, Mandelia would be responsible for their development and safety in the region.

Rakshabandhan festival was celebrated at Malji Ki Haveli at 11 am on Tuesday morning. Thousands of women from all communities applied Tilak to Mandelia and tied Rakhi to him. Mandelia gave Chunari to all the women.

Addressing the women present, Mandelia said, " I don't know what the decision of the Congress party will be and whether they will give me the tickets of their MLAs or not, but I promise you that I will be at your service all the time and you all are like my sisters. This year if I am given a chance to contest the elections, the development, security, and every responsibility of the women of Churu region will be mine. Many people make promises and forget about it later on. I have been active in the Churu Assembly area for 15 years and I am always eager to serve you all. Earlier, you had given my father Haji Maqbool Mandelia a chance to become an MLA. Now, I hope you will give me a chance this year also."

People's prayers came in handy during the Corona period

Referring to the Corona period, Mandelia said that he himself was affected by Corona and was hospitalized for 18 days, but the prayers of the public saved him. He said that whenever people were in trouble during the pandemic, he did not stop himself and the moment he recovered, he reached out to help the public. He said that 40 bed Covid Care Center with state-of-the-art technology was established during the Corona period in Churu. Mandelia said that he will work for the people of his constituency in future as well.

Archana Saraswat, chairperson Municipality, Ratangarh thanked everyone and sought support from all the women present at the event for Rafiq Mandelia, as he has always supported the people of Churu.

Payal Saini, President, Municipal Council, Churu said that Rafiq Saheb has always kept the people of Churu paramount and has always made the development of Churu his priority. Despite not being in power, he has been serving the people of Churu from time to time and has always been available for any help. Now the time has come that we will give him a chance.

Govind Mahansaria, former chairperson of Municipal Council, Churu, while expressing gratitude to all the women present at the gathering said that Rafiq Mandelia has always helped women, poor and helpless people. He has helped in marrying the daughters of many poor people, helped in constructing permanent houses of people, also donated money to temples and mosques. Now, it is time for people to support Rafiq Mandelia in future whenever he needs us.

Kamala Punia, Member Zilla Parishad, Churu also supported Rafiq Mandelia and said that usually people become arrogant even after a little success but the Mandelia family is not like that as they have always been down to earth in their approach. Punia then asked the women that now we have to perform our duty and help Rafiq Mandelia has to win these elections so that he can serve all of us.
